What I’ve come to realize is that what sticks with me the most is when something is able to become someone’s “favorite”. When a character, story, movie, or really anything is chosen as as this prestigious title, there must be a reason for why that is. That’s really what I want to do, just design things that are able to become that favorite.
As a designer, I’ve always valued visual art and design because of its ability to communicate a message or idea without the need for verbal communication, something that I’ve always personally struggled with. It’s what I love about art and what I want to achieve and explore in my work.
